This fruit, typical of the Salento landscape, comes from spontaneous plants that grow both on the steep cliffs of the Salento coasts and in the hinterland.
Capers have been present in the Mediterranean diet since ancient times and in this case, Vizzino works those of medium-small size as they are considered more valuable and tasty.
All the products of the Vizzino farm are free of any artificial preservative, in fact the ingredients of the capers in vinegar are only: medium-small capers, water, vinegar and salt.
The Minimum Storage Term is up to 30 June of the second following year for productions made from 1 January to 30 June, or 31 December of the second following year for productions made from 1 July to 31 December.
The raw materials are processed following codified instructions and are purchased from qualified suppliers and are also subjected to safety and quality controls. The stabilization heat treatment performed is checked instrumentally in each production cycle in order to verify the achievement of the correct temperatures at the core of the product and their maintenance for the established times.
The product can be stored at room temperature, in a cool and dry place. Once opened, it must be consumed within a few days of opening the jar. The opened product must be stored in the refrigerator (4-6 ° C)
